Here is a monthly update on the progress of planning out the 2014 DSI Annual Meeting:

1. Submissions?

The submission deadline for full papers and competition entries is May 1, 2014; the submission deadline for abstracts is May 15, 2014.

• Our submissions to date stand at 3 full papers, 6 abstracts, 12 workshops, and 2 panels.

2. New to Publishing in the DSJ or DSJIE?

If you are interested in publishing but have never published in DSJ or DSJIE, our flagship journals, please consider the two hands-on workshops for DSI 2014 Annual Meeting – Publishing in DSJ and Publishing in DSJIE. The respective editorial teams are putting together these workshops to help new authors develop their manuscripts for submission to DSJ or DSJIE. 3. Keynotes?

In addition to our keynote revolving about the legal side of technology with the Honorable Judge Tony Leung, we have now confirmed keynote events with:

• Dr. Anthony Joseph, MD, founder and Chief Strategic Officer of The Healthcare Colloquium (a Battelle Company); Tony will be discussing Constancy and Change in Healthcare: The Role of Decision Technologies in Creating the Healthcare System of the Future
• John J. Fernandes, President and CEO of AACSB International, and Eric Cornuel, Director and CEO of the European Foundation for Management Development; John and Eric will share insights into How Must Business Schools Change to Meet Structural Changes Hastened by the Rapid Technological Evolution?

4. Networking Events?
